Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate GPS machinery to ensure high quality job is delivered.
• Experience in excavators ranging from 14t up to 30t 
• Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning 
• Communicate with supervisors and other team members, allowing project goals to be met 
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, compliant with WHS policies and procedures

• Min. 3 years GPS and final trim experience

With a broad client base and multiple ongoing and upcoming projects, we are experiencing significant growth and currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Registered Surveyor to join our team on a full-time basis.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Conducting a range of general survey on construction for residential subdivisions;
• Preparing and managing accurate survey plans, cadastral maps and legal descriptions for land parcels.
• Collaborating with clients, government agencies and other stakeholders to deliver required project outcomes;
• Ensuring all work is accurate and complies with legal and regulatory standards for registered surveying; and
• Maintaining meticulous records and documentation of survey data and findings.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Surveyor, ideally in the construction industry
• A bachelor degree in Surveying
• Must be registered with the Surveyor's Board of QLD
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to ensure effective two-way communication when consulting and communicating with clients, external stakeholders, management and colleagues;
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team;
• Proficiency in advanced surveying software and equipment to ensure precision and efficiency in civil surveying activities.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

• Laying pipe in open trenches as per designs
• Safe and competent operation of plant and equipment to Company Standards on road networks and civil construction/maintenance projects

About the Role
As our Administration Officer, you’ll be a key player in keeping our office running smoothly. You’ll provide admin support across various departments, assist with project documentation, and help keep our systems up to date. Every day is different, and your role will be vital in ensuring everything stays on track behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable processing, including collecting and matching delivery dockets, data entry, scanning, and maintaining accurate electronic filing systems.
• Provide administrative support to management and on-site teams, assisting all staff with various tasks as needed
• Maintain organised and efficient office operations, including reception duties
• Assist with scheduling, documentation, and communication tasks including fuel management, uniform and access coordination and executive support to senior management
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across the team
• Contribute ideas and content for social media platforms

About You:

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with field and office teams.
• High level of attention to detail, particularly with data entry and compliance documentation.

• Provide assistance and labouring duties onsite.
• Ensure safe and competent operation of assigned plant if required to Company Standards on road networks and Civil Construction/Maintenance projects. 
• Adopt best practice in relation to road maintenance and construction activities.
• Undertake regular maintenance checks on any assigned plant.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, equipment and depot.
• Completion of relevant job paperwork including Daily Hire Dockets and/or Delivery Dockets.
• Carry out a variety of manual tasks associated with Company operations.
• Complete relevant safety and site-specific inductions.
• Adhere to company workplace health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in ongoing training and self-development to achieve continuous improvement for yourself and the Company. 
• Additionally, you may be required to conduct other duties as lawfully directed by the Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Must possess a valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
• Statement of Attainment or Ticket/s for various construction plant
• Construction Industry Induction Card
• First Aid Training (not essential but desirable)
• 2 or more years’ experience in a similar position/industry (or equivalent)

Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of civil construction industry
